As part of North Blaby PCN, we offer our patients extra appointments in the evenings and on weekends. These clinics include:
- You can talk to a Musculoskeletal specialist about new injuries or pain on Tuesdays from 6:30 PM to 9 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. The specialist will set up any necessary follow-up.
- Nursing clinics are by appointment only on Saturdays, 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. These are held at the Warren Lane Surgery and the Limes Medical Centre. These are for patients needing a smear or asthma review.
- You can speak to a social prescriber on the phone on Monday and Wednesday evenings until 8 pm.
- Structured Medication reviews are on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. They are by phone with our expert pharmacist. These are for patients on regular medication. An expert review is essential to ensure you stay well on the prescribed medication.
- GP telephone triage is available from 6 pm to 10 pm on two weekdays and on Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The weekday slots change weekly. Note, you won’t be speaking with your regular GP.
